Default COPO 1969 engine found!!

A friend of mine has found a correct 1969 COPO Camaro engine with the car vin on it, where would a person go to connect this engine to the car or car owner ???????
Engine is from OHIO

Check the Registry VIN list on this site to see if it's there. Hopefully it's mine but I doubt it!

I did not see any VIN's in the Registry that ended in "78".

I see a Yenko that ends with 8878 so maybe double check the 99 and see if it's really 88.
