Thanks to all for the kind words. There is a little more to the story than what you're reading in Hemmings though. You see, the photo shoot had to be done on two occasions. The reason being, a real bone-headed move on my part!! In my defense, I guess I was a little excited and distracted by this whole process. So, there we were in the middle of photo shoot "part one", when I had to get something out of the trunk. I don't know about you guys, but everytime I go to close my truck lid, I always check my pockets for the keys. Do you see where this is going?? I've never not found my keys in my pocket when I've done this and I've never locked my keys in the trunk. Well, I can't say that anymore!! Doesn't sound like too big a deal, right? Well, it turned out to be because my extra keys were in a safe-deposit box in the bank. These are the original keys from Harry Mann Chevrolet on a key ring with a little plastic tag. I never had a spare set made. Anyway, to make a long story a little longer, it was 10 minutes until 6:00. The bank closed at 6:00 and I couldn't make it there it time anyway, so I had to call AAA and have the car flat-bedded home. And now you know the rest of the story!!

Hay Joe
You are not the only one to have done this
That is why I have always have a extra key hidden in one of those little magnetic boxes in my Camaro.
Just used it the Summer before last at a Tuesday Cruise night 40 miles from home. After returning from the on sight restaurant I realized what I had done. No problem, I had the magnetic box, problem was it took me 20 minutes to find it
By the way cool Nova

Mike
