ok back to plates. I myself no longer go after specifics on a plate. That Nova would do nice with 70396375. But if you sell it that plate could be transferred. BUT say go get a 69 or a LS6, why would you want that plate any longer on those. It becomes a piece of wall art for later use. And we are NOT getting any younger.

So unless it was something special, like say your dads car like I'm looking at doing with a 1967 Vette. Once I get that it will never be sold as long as I'm alive. It will be "willed" to my son upon my passing. So if I get something like "67 Vet Rag or 67 427 4sp.

So If you can Babalo or something more generic and less model,yr or car specific would be what I would do. I have a version of my last name (changed from when there was only 6 letters allowed) 61 yr of manufacturer plate. The new car, 1967 Nova SS has OLDESKOL. 427 BBc with T400 and tubbed with 29.5 x 12.5 tires and leaf springs.

Good luck but that is what I do and recommend.

Yep, can’t transfer after you put it on a car. I probably have 15 sets of personalized plates for cars and bikes. I’ve used a couple twice because I had the same model car/bike. I have 67 RS Z, 67 SS L78 and ZeeL1 that have never been on a car.
