Austin, TX going to MCACN with room?

I know this is a long shot and a LOT to ask (and a little crazy), but you don't know if you don't ask.

I would like to purchase an old AMMCO brake lathe in Austin. There are actually two of them on one table, so very heavy. Figure I can take the two and make one good one. Even if I can't, parts are still available.

I don't want to drive 6.5 hours each way to pick up.

So, would need someone to pick it up on or before October 6, then bring it up I35 on the way to MCACN. I live withing 1.5 miles of I35, so not far out of the way at all.

Would gladly pay $300 for your time and trouble. Hopefully, we would have time for a beer after unloading at my shop.

And besides, you would get to view one of the most historic little towns in the country.

Again, the chance someone has the time and space for this is slim to none, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
