----.I blew that picture up and have it hanging right behind me in the cave. Love just taking a look at it every day! I do know that this very 66 Corvette is now in the Detroit area. Lots of rumors going around but I won't comment as my friend that owns it is fairly private.....Bill S

There's a small photo of it in McQueen's Machines. Burgundy, side exhaust, CA tag TBM 749. Can't make out the dealer on the tag frame.

His son Chad was involved with the book and said he knew nothing about it.

Isn’t the mule a different car but pic the correct car which Zora had prepared w/ an L88 for a Road Test McQueen was involved with? Sounds like McQueen loved it so kept and drove the car for a few months then returned it to GM who put a stock L72 in it before it being sold.

I may have used the wrong terminology. But I think you're right it was a white car.
