Could these be ordered with an aluminum front end? There was a gentleman that had some early Hemi cars and an old Pontiac that he bought new and I could swear he said came with an aluminum front end.

was this Jim that had multiple Hemi engine pulling tractors? Have always wondered what happened to his cars. His 64 A864 Hemi 4spd Plymouth he had bought for $125.00 at a divorce yard sale in 71

Yes, his name was Jim. I was unaware of the pulling tractors but he had an old brick building behind his shop with some pretty rare stuff inside. I only met him once and he was kind enough to show me his cars. I'm guessing 1997-1998 time frame.

Jim passed in 2013. Yes, the cars were in a block building behind his shop. A 66 Hemi automatic Satellite convertible and the 64 steel nose Hemi 4spd Plymouth sat next to it. So, the SD was bought new by Jim? I just remember him saying it was a factory Pontiac race car. this was 1980

That time frame would have been about the last time my father talked with Roy Tope who was his contact inside IH. It was Roy who was friends with Jim and got us in to see his cars.

That car was on ebay a couple times a few years ago. I don't remember if it sold or not but those are the same pictures I remember looking at. I'd love to own it if I had the space and money.
