Thanks to a member here who has gone WAY above and beyond, I now have the Astro Ventilation emblem coming too. Thanks Phil. You are one in a million! I received an email this morning from a gentleman offering me the dash spear and his was really nice so check two more off the list.

That's it for tonight people. I have been at the shop since 11:00 this morning updating the lost photos after plowing 11" of snow early this morning and with more on the way. I will try and get back here tomorrow to update more of these.

Thanks Rick, very much appreciate your efforts restoring the pics in the threat. The information in this thread is invaluable.

Another 5 1/2 hours today and I am only caught up to post #195 but I have a screaming headache so I am going home. Damn this sucks and better things to do with my time but just can't let it go to waste. There will be new photos added and some that are gone as I have no idea what was there before they got deleted. Hope you all can use what I reposted and makes our efforts worth while.

Rick, I don't even own a '69 and I gain useful knowledge from your posts, in addition to cheering you and Annie on in this incredible build!

Rick,

Go home and rest up.....with all this snow, it probably reminds you of your early days of your youth back in Minnesota
If you only still owned an auger, you could do some Ice Fishing

I should add that a couple of people had contacted me offering to send me copies of most or all the photos that I originally posted. While I appreciate the offer it would still have taken as much time so I just opted to start from scratch. This also allowed me to post some updated photos. Thanks to you both for offering to help.

thanks for posting and reposting

It is a great thread

Having had a few 68 and 69 Chevelles and El Caminos over the last 40 years, it is very interesting to see your restoration

years ago another hard part to find was the 69 Chevelle grill

I went to buy a new one from Chevy back in the 1980s and the parts guy said he can get it so I ordered it.
When it came in, it was what I call the 300 Standard grill which is different then the Malibu grill.
He said it was the only one he can get ( SS or non SS)

The early reproduction was not very good, not sure about the repop that is sold today

The body was set down on the frame late last week and is being striped this morning for the photo shoot that will take place late this afternoon. Here is our completed chassis we restored Muscle Car Restoration and Design.
