I have a pair in very nice condition, but unknown if original. I've had them 17 years and got them from a friend who got them in a car he bought a few years before that. If the covers are repop, they would be around 20 years ago. Can you tell by looking at them if they are repop or original ?

I was looking for pics on my computer from years ago, but they are gone. I'll have to get some.

Close up of the grain

Close up of the original grain on rear seat. That appears close, but the pleats aren't as full. The seat looks a little flat compared to my rear seat.

Seat backs are repro plastic. This is the latch opening. Looks too clean and the foam too pliable to be 55 years old. Does the opening and sewing look original ? I do have 1 of the original front seats on a shelf out in the back shed, if we need to compare.

Mitch they appear to be repro. the simulated stiches tell the story. On orig material the stiches are slanted, they are straight on that seat. Maybe some one that has already been through this could post. I really appreciate you looking for me. Thanks

I kind of figured they were, they are too soft to be 55 years old too !
It didn't matter to me at the time, as the original seats are deluxe but were in very poor condition. These have served me for all these years.

Good luck with your search.
