this is the coolest bunch of photos yet!!
three corvairs on the street!!!
That BelAir with the Carson top?
and this Plum Crazy collection.........

We had one of these back when they were called "Re-Nalt" before the PC invasion. I remember my dad saying my mother thought the pedal on the left was a foot rest. That's why he had to replace the clutch three times! I think it eventually burst into flames out back. 4NJNK

Chris,
I am truly impressed that you recognized that Carson top on that '61!!! I was about to post a challenge to anyone who could identify it!
Thanks for posting and thinking of me Dog. All I can say about those pictures, is "those were the days".

I knew it was the "Carson" style but wasn't sure if it was just hacked off a Chrysler or some other big boat sedan

I'd bet money there is another Renault Dauphine somewhere on the property pictured here......nobody owned just one....you had to have one or two extras for parts.

I'll be darned - here's another one I recognize. That's the parking lot of the Armour-Dial plant in Montgomery, IL.

Does anyone else think that the owner of this car was a little upset when he picked it up?
