I found this photo in a 1971 Air Progress covering the San Diego Cup "1,000 mile" air race that year. Clay Lacy, famous Lear Jet operator and film pilot, "races" his DC-7 against someone's FED during the airshow. Lacy placed sixth at the 1970 California 1,000 air race in Super Snoopy.

I love this shot from the bridge across the big end at Riverside, 1964. I wonder if that's Keith Black's '59 Ranchero? That would mean that the GPB car is making a pass here.
