Default Water Spots Removed From Glass

I found a new method today to get those pesky water spots out of auto glass. I used 0000 steel wool and Meguiars #2 fine cut cleaner. You have to be patient and do it approximately a half dozen times. I used this method on my 71 Ventura glass and removed about 90-99% of the stains. It also polishes the glass nicely.

Just thought I would share this little detailing tip..

The Detailer at the Auto shows use 0000 steel wool and windex. Just keep it wet.

And make sure you blow the car off good after it all dries. Don't want little shards of steel wool down in cracks, especially anywhere against the paint. The steel wool particles will eventually rust and can create a new problem.

Exactly the reason why Bronze wool is the better alternative.
