Default 67 SS/RS L35 Clone Value

Ok guys, I need to put a value on the car for insurance purposes and if something did happen and I had to replace the car what kind of price range I would be in. I can not put a value on the car due to the sentimental value involved for me. Here is a link to the build thread and attached are pictures. Thanks for any and all help.

Go to eBay and Cars on line . com and
you'll see a dozen or so in the $28,000 - $48,000 range depending on Quality, accuracy and the finished product. Right in the middle is an educated estimate for what I see.
Most insurance companies have various appraisal companies at there disposal , as most require or recommend a concise appraisal.

Damn Sharp Car by the Way....
Its easier to sell than it is to replace it !!

I would insure it for $35,000. Look at comps that have sold recently. If something happens, you don't want to find out you don't have enough to replace it. And if you have reciepts, add those up. And if you did the work yourself, estimate what you would have to pay someone to do the work. Just because you did the work yourself, doesn't mean that is not included in the appraisal. It is based on the quality of the work, not who has done the work.

Ditto, except the value estimate.
In today's classic car insurance, you can insure it at Stated Value which means you name the Value and back it up if there is a claim.

Stated Value for your Car is very realistic at $40 + with 0 deductibles.
Garage insured, no or generous mileage limits. spare parts, tools, accessories ,displays, trophies, car covers etc.

Its minor monies for a premium going up $5,000 of coverage.

ALWAYS INSURE A CAR BEYOND ACV.(actual cash value).
Transportation, time, hotels, outside appraised costs are a part of buying a Replacement Car.

I checked with Heacock, they had the best Coverages with less restrictions and the Lowest Rates of the other Big 3 providers..

GOOD LUCK.. SEEMS AS THOUGH MOST HERE. "LOVE THAT CAR"

Thanks for the input gentlemen. I figured I would get an appraisal but I also wanted people in the hobby to give me their opinion of what they felt was the value of the car. I guess I didnt make that clear in my original post. My apologizes.
