Default Had some help with the engine drop...

Trying to keep my youngest Grandson interested and involved.

Afterwards he though he was pretty cool. I told him "I couldn't have done it without you" His response "I know!"

Handsome young mechanic and a cool grandpa for teaching him some tricks of the 60’s era automobiles.

I love this stuff. Reminds me of when I was young spending time with my Dad on his 67.

Not many young boys are dropping engines in muscle cars these days. That's great to see, Bill.

Thanks guys!!
Here's a few more special moments over the years, beginning with Bennett's library book choice.

The auto transport was my Christmas gift 1954, it's now his.

That day in the garage I asked which is his favorite, replied the red one. I asked why, "Because it's the fastest." How did he know that??

He was with me at the Des Moines Concours last September and rode with me across the awards stage. After walking a lap around the show field he declared the Chevelle was his third favorite behind a Ferrari and a GT40.

He loves the automotive smells in my shop. - Bill W
