Default Kalitta cashing on in Coronavirus

Sure looks like Kalitta is cashing in nicely on the Coronavirus situation. His fleet of 747's seem not to be cooling off anytime soon. Helluva business he built over the years...

They’re based out of Willow Run, but I think all the maintenance and most of the flights are out of the old Wurtsmith AFB. Pretty much everything they fly are 747 and 767’s. 30-40 of them last I heard.

I saw a Kalitta Air 747 in Alaska and another in Alice Springs, Australia in past few years.

Kalitta Air had a few planes at the FED EX area at Sky Harbor over the Christmas holiday...I assume they were helping to fly packages?

I would guess that this corona-virus scare would hurt someone in the shipping business no matter where you're flying from as it will cause a standstill in anything coming out of China.

They are now flying evacuees out of China to SF air force bases from what I saw on the news tonight.
