Default Period photo of Ken Barnhart's ZL1

Looks like Ken's ZL1 Camaro in the background. I hate Facebook at times but some really neat photos do surface from time to time.

I don't think Jenkins' car had that pointed spoiler.

The front 69 Camaro is Jim Hayters. I am talking about the orange 69 Camaro in the top left corner of the photo. This is Jim's car. The next one is Barnharts.

Ken has a sweet ZL-1 Camaro. Met him at US 131 Motorsport Park dragway some years back. They were running some Camaro nostalgia show that day and Bill Porterfield showed up with his ZL-1 also. Had a nice discussion with Ken, great guy and loved hearing the history of his car.

Met Ken at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin Mich some years back. Great guy. His ZL-1 is a beauty.
Ken told me the history of his car and the days he raced it. This was a Camaro nostalgia drag race show and car show all in one. Bill Porterfield brought his 69 Camaro ZL-1 to this show also. Days i will never forget.

The story I heard was Jenkins cut it off with a hacksaw at the race because he thought it had to much drag.
