Love this Thread!!
Here is a pic from High School parking lot- 1983.
Car was Rally green, white stripes, all orig interior & paint. I rebuilt 302 SBC and it ran mid 13's at 107 mph with 4:10 gear. It was a "CE" block from warranty work within first 6 months as told by original owner. I didn't know what "CE" meant until much later. Didn't care at the time!

Default My Nova

Some pics of my first car. I bought it in 1975 after I missed out on a deal for a 69 Camaro. I bought it at the age of 15 before I even had a license. Paid cash for it from money I earned by cutting lawns, shoveling snow and working part time in a party store. If my memory serves me correctly it was around $2,100 +/- $200. I had to have my big brother drive it home for me and then teach me how to drive a stick shift, 4 on the floor. Man I had some good times with that car!

Default Plymouth Satellite

Got an offer I couldn't refuse for my Nova and bought this Plymouth Satellite. It was an okay car but regretted selling my Nova. It was just too big of a car for me, nice back seat though lol!

Default 78 ta

My 78 TA. I bought it brand new as a graduation gift to myself. Paid around $7,600 for it. Those are my 2 younger twin brothers and their friends admiring it in the background. Like a country song I went on to live the American dream, get married have a wife, a mortgage, 2 kids, eventually sell the car and drive a junker to work everyday lol! BTW After about 38 years in 2013 I finally landed a similar 69 Camaro RS like the one I had missed out on in 1975. Good ending and NO I'm not selling it!

Man that photo looks mighty dangerous, especially for the guy under the car. Even for the guy on top a big No-No.

You expect more from Standard, but style points for the pants at least. Figure the feller in the lawn chair has the right idea. Today he'd have the phone out ...

Cool shot!
