Got my stuff done last weekend…just in time for the first snow/ice tomorrow. Washed the 93 HD, added fresh fuel and stabilizer, then put on the new breathable cover. Put fresh fuel in the 993 and washed it, then up on the lift for the winter…or so I thought. Had a member from another forum reach out and ask if I would consider selling. We reached an agreement and the car will be heading to Germany in a few weeks. That was probably my last 993 as I would like a newer 911 daily and maybe another old Corvette as my collector car. I enjoy the hunt more than the purchase to be honest, so I’ll take my time.

We decided to hire someone to clear the snow this year. At 61, it’s just something that I don’t care to do on my own now that our son has moved out and can’t help. Seems reasonable at $1200 ($850 US) for the season.

Sorry for the sideways pics, but even if I rotate them on my iPad, they show up sideways here. This drives me nuts as it doesn’t happen on any other website I post on!

Thanks Dave! How did you get them to stay rotated? When I do that, they just rotate back when I post them.

I just saved the pics to my photos and then edited them by rotating them.
Must be the functionality with some computers or tablets?
I’ve also posted “right side up” pics and they have loaded sideways.
Haven’t quite figured it out?
Sweet 993 btw.

Thanks Dave. That is exactly what I did, but it keeps rotating them on me.

I really like this 993 too, but I've had it for 2.5 years and it's time for a change. When I got into 993's in 2007, they were just 10 year old sports cars. Now they have become collector cars and with them being 25 plus years old, I don't feel as comfortable using them as a summer driver. I still love them though!
