Interesting - didn't know that. I have seen the car (not in person) and read about the dealer-added stripes, but thought they were just on the hood.

That was a collection in Az that was sold at Mecum years ago.

Kind of a shame to break that one up. Wish there was a musclecar museum open to the public that is closer to me. A buddy of mine handles maintenance for the private collection that belongs to Jim Patterson, a well-known businessman in my city, but he collects mainly antique European cars - French automobiles specifically. While I like just about any cool car that has been preserved through the years, it doesn't stoke my fire like a good collection of American Muscle.
