Default '70 RS/Z, #s LT1/4-sp, 21k miles

Green on green isn't for everyone, but this car sure looks to be nicely restored. I'm curious what it must have looked like as a 21,000 mile car prior to restoration.

Pretty low optioned car with no radio, console, etc, just the way I like them.

Am I the only one to be seeing the front fenders (both sides) darker than the doors and rear quarters? Also, they painted the top of the dash green? I'm no 70 Camaro expert, but I can't imagine that's correct.

Maybe it wasn't originally an RS car and they added it after the car was painted?

Top of the dash painted interior color is correct, (although the VIN plate should be black for an LA car) and I agree, looks to have been nicely restored at some point, but based on the corrosion on the valve covers, I have to question how well it was stored since. There's a bunch of incorrect items on the car which just opens it up for questions, such as why would the shifter handle and hood hinges be changed on such a low original mile car?

The door panels look a bit wonky with the black uppers and lowers and green centers. Maybe just the photo I am seeing.

Thought at first they installed a Firebird shift handle, but I think the original is just bent back.

Dave - considering the 70 Camaro shift handle is bent at the base, to get the look of the subject shifter, I think they would have had to straighten the lower section before re-bending it in the middle. I vote for later 2nd Gen Camaro or Firebird shifter. Either way, the car would need to be checked out in more detail.
