Default '68 GTO 400HO/4-sp, Original Paint, Great Docs, 8,700 Miles

Not sure I believe the 8,700 mile claim, but the interior does look quite nice and not worn out. Aesthetically this one needs some love, but the original paint may be salvageable with some spot repair on the lower blackout areas, and a redo of the front bumper....

Anyway, nice to see a HO car so original and well documented even if it's rough around the edges.

I’m sorry, I’m going to have to call and get the back story. I need to know. The suspense is too much. Like any undisturbed artifact, I think this is soooo cooool!!!!

That front bumper deal is weird...never seen one bent "out", Might have happened rolling it off a trailer or someone tried to tow the car by hooking it through the bumper
Lots of cool original bits on this one. The lower pinstripe is a rarely seen option, though I don't think the lower blackout treatment was ever factory done. Could have been done at the dealer, though it doesn't show up on the paperwork. Probably done by the OO as a nod toward the Royal Bobcat paint scheme.

Yep Sam, this car does it for me. Looks fairly rusty to me, but would be worth bringing back to life. Very cool!!

I'd love to know the story behind this as well. Either it is really good, or the seller is good at baiting us.

It would be easy too confirm mileage. Sold new in a small town, i am sure people know the car. And original owner could still live there.

Lame! This was listed with a $25k opening bid last night, and the seller has since jacked it up to $30k.

And now it's back down to $23k. Weird.

Now there are a few pics of it outside the garage. Also, there is no longer a buy-it-now. There are five bids and it's at $16,600.

I tried to get a hold of this seller yesterday. 2 phone calls and it kicks right to a VM box that is not set up. Seller did not respond to a text either.

Does not instill very much confidence
