Default 1st Byron Glory Days Event

Ron Leek, the long time owner and operator of Byron Dragway passed away this prior week, just before the first annual Glory Days, which took over the Byron Melt Down Drags event. Lots of very kool vintage style cars as well as real vintage race cars. Here is one of our straight axle cars making some hits. Watch until the end for a cameo appearance of a very special celebrity.

He was an unwilling participant......but I got him. The next video we have is Dennis Flag starting the Super Stock cars. He was jumping two feet off the ground.......basket ball player vertical jump, and exhibited mad skills with the flags, like a Fujitsu master. All this in 98 degree ambient temps with a 110 heat index. Great job Mr. Cumby.
