My brother found a number matching 'restorable' 67 camaro SS vert just North of Miami 2 blocks from the beach sitting with flat tires. I bought it sight unseen for $1500 and paid $1400 to have it shipped to Pa.
When it arrived in the car hauler, first they pulled the ferrari off the upper level. Then the 48 rolls came pulling out... Then we pushed out my camaro.. it was worse than this car. It literally had sand falling out of it from the wind blowing sand in the holes in the body where it had been sitting. I noticed what looked like frame connectors and I realized someone welded those green fence posts to the rockers to keep car from folding in half.... moral of story...dont buy a beach car from South Florida !! |
