1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 Automatic 3.31 Radiator BR Tag XP-IA Tanks
Survivor XP Automatic Radiator with BR tag which is only for one application a 3 row LS6 Automatic with 3.31 gear ratio (Posi or Open). BR Tag has part #3019205 on the bottom.
Over all condition in Very good but selling "AS IS" as a core and not tested, recommend a rebuild before installing. Tag still is factory welded on to the side XP tank, Petcock may be an original but not sure as photos were supplied by the consigner and he could not get a clear photo as to it being a Weatherhead one. XP tank is dated D-1 which is April 1st week, I never see the week under the month code but this one has it. The other Tank does NOT have a "IA" embossed tank as some did not come coded as this is the second time I have seen a survivor without the embossed code on the drivers side. As you know Original Radiators are extremely hard to find especially with an original tag. I am selling this on consignment for $900 USD, Will ship for $35 from Texas USA.

The 1969 L-35,L-34,L78 auto trans Chevelle/El camino used this same radiator. The 1970 LS-5 auto trans Monte Carlo/Chevelle & El camino also used this same radiator. As did the 1970 330HP LS-3 engine, when installed in same vehicles above when equipped with air conditioning. And any 1971 Big Block Monte Carlo w/Air conditioning & Auto Trans. All tagged BR and #3019205 with XP & IA tanks. Last edited by Mr70; 05-27-2020 at 02:31 AM. |
