Default Machine shop in MA

My guy in Wareham recently retired, and the one guy on the Cape I wouldn't use for a bicycle. I am on Cape Cod, and we have to drive everywhere to get anything, so that's not a problem. I need my ZL1 finished, and intend to run it. Haven't heard good things about Reids, but don't know how true it is. Who uses who?

----Jimmy has built at least 5 stock hi-output Chevy engines (probably more as my memory sucks) and also my 67 W30 Olds engine. As well, he built Red Alerts 480ci/780hp pill which pushed my 3900 lb LS6 as far as the low, low 10's. I used to run a whole season on one set of plugs. There's nobody in New England I would trust more. He's even built some huge hp boat motors. Tell him I recomended him!!!!....Bill S

Reid's did my L78 for my pace car last year. They did a good job, although I was hoping for better HP/Torque numbers. I had previously used Boucher's out in Rowley, MA about 20 years ago for my L34 Chevelle and engine was amazing! I would have used him again, but he had a year wait! Good luck! There is also a place maybe in Medford, MA?

I've used PK Machine in Fitchburg MA for over 30 Years. I've had Paul ( PK ) build some stock looking Big Block and Small Blocks over the years that made well over advertised Hp. PK stands behind his work 100%.

Thanks for all the recommendations people. I would have responded sooner, but a death in the family has kept me busy. I intend to run this engine. Not real hard, mind you, but still want the best work I can get. Thanks again.

That has got to be the funniest thing I have read all year. You remember things that happened 50 years ago like it happened yesterday including their names. LOL
