Biggest impact they have is moving the instant center of the rear suspension rearward, which should make the tires hit even harder. They do look cool, but I'm guessing they will make the car more violent and tougher to launch....

There are bolts that screw up and down to either allow or stop any travel on the lower control arm.

This will help for better weight transfer and bite.

True on the bolts, but the real clincher here is how much the rear pivot has been lowered compared to the factory location on the rear axle. This is what creates the desired 'hard hitting' effect.

One of the mechanics at the Sunoco I pumped gas at had a DAY-2 67 Chevelle, he had these in his car, said they were clunky and had me throw them in the scrap bin:-(

I should have kept them:-(

Dan Vasic met me at "The First 20 Years" reunion at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wi a couple weeks ago. Although it rained more than we wanted I had a chance to get the car out and show it for a couple hours.

My main intent was to see I'd anyone recognized the car from back in the day when Robert Chalupa raced it there quiet often in the 70's through the 80's.

Dan saw a guy walking around the car and he asked him if he knew the car or if he'd seen it before. The guy said yes.....he knew a Al Sung (spelling?), pronounced "Sing", had one. Dan asked if it was a Post like mine and he said yes.

My question is if anyone in the area has heard I'd Al Sung? The guy said he was from the Chicago area.

Thanks in advance, Kurt
