Yes, Kennie Shelton Jr is listed as the last owner, address was only listed as 'Manheim PA' though....

What determined the color stripe when on same color paint? I noticed the two garnet red cars have two different colored stripes.

Honestly, i don't know if it was anything more than having a mix of assorted combos available. I've never seen anything in writing where a specific color stripe was ordered. Could have just been a matter of whatever color stripe kits were on the shelf at the time of conversion.

If you bought a car from Yenko Chevrolet, you had more options then if the car was sold by a another Chevy Dealer in the Yenko Dealer network.

There were a few cars sold directly by Yenko Chevy that had more modifications then the average car

Why do you say Frank's Yenko Chevelle had dealer installed AC?

I thought he told me he installed the AC along with other 69 Chevelle options he found during an early restoration.

I was surprised to see all the options on the car and was a long time ago when I met him but that is what I recall him saying.

Well, it’s one or the other....I last saw Frank and his Yenko Chevelle nearly 20 years ago, it’s how I remember our conversation.
What ever the case.....it is one very cool Yenko Chevelle with A/C

Just to add a bit more information about this car, I can confirm it was the original owner who brought it to the show. It was the Mid-America Chevelle Club show. The car has been around a few local shows since then and he has removed the side-pipes and a few other small modifications. I haven't seen it in a few years now but I've been told he still has it and has no intentions to sell. I also have some additional pictures of the car if anyone is interested.

Yenko would do just about anything the paying customer wanted. e.g. 1, most Fathom Green Yenko Camaro's had white stripes, but one or two had black stripes...very stealth! I saw one with black stripes at Reunion # 1 and patterned my tribute off it. BTW my car started as a sb auto with AC, and I put it back with AC. Had to fab up one of the brackets, because, IIRC, the 840 heads did not have the boss to attach to.

e.g. 2, Yenko had a local shop install a vinyl top on a Yenko Camaro, because that's what the customer wanted. The vinyl extended to the drip rail, unlike factory vinyl tops.
