It's from Jersey originally (from the Title)!
Despite what seller says, its not the original seats. The H6X9 Cuda seats look like this: (the orange car on the left) The ebay car looks like they reupholstered front and rear seats similar to what is in this green Challenger (HRX9 leather pattern seats). For sure....eBay ad says the car was repainted blue many years ago. IIRC, the Plum Crazy cars were prone to paint fading/chalking back in the day.

Looks like it's had a couple blue paint jobs as evidenced by that door decal edge area.
I think the paint technology was bad back then for the Plum Crazy/InViolet color. I remember seeing a lot of purple cars with flaking paint and primer peeking through, all through the early 1970's - I think the first one I saw was 1972 down at our local shopping center. There were several in the area: a Duster, a couple Cudas and a Satellite that were more factory primer than purple. P.S. that ebay car also has a 1972-4 front bumper with the bumper jack slots. |
