I live just a few mile away from LMC. I'll drop in and look at the vehicle. The last black 69 L78 Nova he sold last fall for approx 50K CDN. (38K USD) was not as well done as this one. Are these the correct door panels? All panels I have seen (Including mine on my deluxe interior) have the white trim running horizontal across the top of the panel as opposed to vertical as in this vehicle.

Those door panels are correct for a "standard" interior. However, this one now has the deluxe vinyl seat covers, and carpet, etc. So, it's hard tellin' what should be there.

Maybe it had the standard interior, and was improved during the restoration?

At a glance, I thought the last one looked nicer than this one. Once again, I didn't get a chance to check out all of the pics. I can't tell if it's my computer screen or the car but the side trim doesn't seem to line up straight. Maybe I'm looking crooked Marc

I got an email from the person who bought this car? or the one before it from Legendary. He found my email via Kevin Suydam's site.

Here's the email he sent to me:

Finished in the factory colour of Tuxedo black with a black bucket interior. Powered by the numbers matching 396ci/375hp, L78 engine and a four speed transmission, power brakes, radio delete, dog dish rims with red line tires. A very rare Nova that is rust-free and has documentation (protect-o-plate). The resto is a few years old, but the car is still a nice head-turner, as you can see in the attached photos. This car war purchased at Legendary Motorcar Company. I have added a couple of guages, a tach and a points eliminator kit (still have points). If you haven't heard of Legendary, they do the TV show "Dream Car Garage" (http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/). They only deal in the real thing.

The interior is Excellent - The black bucket interior is in very good condition, with no evidence of wear at all. The seats, carpets, panels, and dash have been extremely well taken care of. The seats are in good condition with no rips or tears. There is a small tear in the passenger side sail panel, and the window whiskers need replacing.

The exterior speaks for itself in the attached photographs.

This car scored an 87 out of 100.
It would not take much to make this car perfect. It is a rare car since it is an L78, factory black, with buckets, 4-speed and radio delete. I am asking $60K USD.
Let me know if you want any particular photos of the car and I will send them to you.
