Default Scr27

We are excited to announce plans for a new and improved Super Car Reunion. Due to the fact that in late July, the temps during the day in Bowling Green can reach the upper 90s, while the evening hours are really pleasant, we will now race at night, under the lights at historic Beech Bend Raceway. The Meet and Greet, as well as the racing portion of the event will be held Friday evening, August 2, 2024, at Beech Bend Raceway, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Predictions are that with the cooler temps and better air, the cars will be flying with racers going for personal bests.

Saturday morning, August 3rd, we will move in the Corvette Museum for an all-day show, open to the public, with our annual banquet Saturday evening. The cars will remain in the museum overnight, with load out Sunday morning.

We hope to be there with a trio of Yenkos, as well as the Lingenfelter powered Schnelker and Losher 1963 M/P Corvette. What are you bringing?

Maybe I can get a 10.50 out of the old Camaro this year!

What time will we be on the track? I talked to one of the guys that goes to Camaro Fest and he said they would be there until 5 pm.

Really ? We will be sharing the track with them again ?
It was my understanding that Camaro Fest was forced upon SCR by Beech Bend last year and I didn't enjoy the event near as much as previous years. If this is going to be the way SCR is put on now, I'm saddened by that decision. It's an expensive event for me to attend and If I'm not going to enjoy it, sadly, I won't be attending anymore.
