Not sure how courteous drivers are in Quebec, but I can think of many places in the US where if that had happened, the cars behind the plane would have been laying on the horn for him to hurry up and get out of their way.

Boy, he put it down nicely! He had to put it down in between cars and highway signs! Wow!!

On a lighter note, I don't think Super Dave would've had to land at all. At the pace he works, he would've climbed out the window and fixed it before he ever had to think about landing!
