1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback - SFM6S2139, Factory Stripe Delete

https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0520-41...t350-fastback/

NOPE . . . The LeMans/Racing Stripes were always an option. The only way it could be a stripe delete is if the car was built with no stripes above the rocker panel which was never done for production cars.

Olds didn't start offering body colored Super Stock II wheels (N67) until the 1971 model year. Should be the standard gray color (N66: 1968 - 1970).

Body coloured wheels were part of the Rally350 package and the Y74 Pace car package (white) in 1970

I looked at a 442 that looked a lot like that one. It was a few years ago at mecum kissimmee and had original paint. It has been repainted since and I bet ran through their auction 4 or 5 times. Mostly not selling. It was low miles and the interior looked like new.

True, they were part of those special edition models. Also on the 1969 Hurst/Olds - they were gold not gray and chromed 15". I was referencing the 442 where the Super Stock II wheels were an option. That's what the photo is, A 442 (with W30 option). It's very common for 68 to 70 442 owners to paint their SSII wheels body colored. Not correct but it looks good.
