Default Holley 4346 question

Hey guys, I’m battling an issue on my yenko. It has a really bad dead spot when lightly on the throttle. And if I step on it hard it will hesitate for a second then take off. I’ve adjusted and replaced accel pump with no change.
Does anyone know what number squirted should be on the 4346 Holley? Or have any suggestions ?

Thanks!

With the car not running and looking down the carb when you give it gas does the accelerator pump squirt right away, or is there a slight pause?

Have you checked the ignition timing? Retarded timing will cause a hesitation.

Check timing and rev it up with the vacuum advance hooked up to make sure it is working.
Make sure no vacuum leaks. Clean the idle and main air bleeds with some carb cleaner, especially if it has been sitting. I use a 31 squirter in my small block mild cam with headers Corvette.

Another possibility is your primary power valve may be opening too soon causing the hesitation. When did this start happening? You may need to go down a # or two. It could be what other suggest. Goodluck......

To answer your initial question, the original squirter was .025.

You can go here, then save it as a pdf and keep it on your computer for quick reference.
