it was on American Pickers..the van belonged to a founding member..it was his van, and he left and took it with him..so it disappeared

Wolfe paid $25k for it.....i just saw the episode monday..it was weird and chopped up, especially when the money was talked about..i dunno..it just wasnt like most episodes..you know..staged...

they even found an Aerosmith member that confirmed it was the van

the pic is a combination of keep on trucking and is a self portrait of the artist that painted it...

I saw the original show a week or so ago. what are they going to do with it. it was really rusty underneath

The artwork was either maintained over the years or touched up for the show. It does not match the overall patina of the van.

Cool item tho.
