Pneumatic. If that fails, manual.

Drag racing Sportsmen classes get no respect by the T.V. Networks. Stock, Super Stock should be fully covered. But they still love the Big Pro Classes yet. Drag racing just is not the same anymore. Seems like attendance is way down at the tracks. A real shame.

I agree with you, but will add that in the NE the attendance is still pretty strong. Maple Grove sold out all 3 days!! Even more amazing was that the weather held up for a change, the program stayed on schedule - and the Top 2 kids in each of the 3 age groups were able to make a pass on Sunday afternoon! To be honest, it was most likely due to Haddock's 6 year old kid wanting to make his Jr Dragster debut - but we'll tag along after all of his hoopla!

Danny was one of the 6 kids....

A lot of the chutes these days are air activatied and are deployed by a button on the steering wheel as you saw. Always preferred a lever and cable manually activated myself. Not much fun when someone forgets to turn the bottle on

Dave Connolly is still with Cagnazzi Racing but has a full time drive now that Johnny Gray is the sponsor. The last couple of years he was Erica's crew chief as well as driving at the occasional event.
