Interesting find on Facebook tonight. Guy buys out a huge parts collection. In it are some bucket seats and there he later finds a buildsheet to an LS6. He posts a photo of the sheet and lo and behold I recognize it as belonging to Red Alert. Now THAT is a cool find! I hope he reunites it with the current owner.

----Rick,,,Shortly after bringing Red Alert back to my shop on Cape Cod in 1990 I took out the front seat to have a seam re-stitched. I looked underneath and there was a beautiful build sheet. The interior guy took the seat apart and carefully removed the build sheet. We were both really surprised to see that it belonged to a Malibu small block convertible. With a bit of thought we figured out that the Malibu was a few serial numbers after RA. The installer must have picked up the wrong seat.
----Really cool to hear about this build sheet. I wonder what serial number it is. Pretty sure the present owner would want it. Red was an early December car as close as I can recollect.....Bill S

Unfortunately he wants to sell it. Cant say I blame him but I hope he does not hold the owner hostage. It's cool but doubt it would add a ton of money to the car.
