NOS Delco Y55 Battery Question

Need some help on this. I found a NOS Delco Y55 battery in the box and the caps do not have the yellow on them but the eye does. Is this correct for an NOS Y55 battery?

If the caps are mostly black with a center that looks like black cork with tiny openings, the caps are later production. Others can help clue you in on the ins and outs of a warranty sticker on the top.

yep thats exactly what the caps look like other than the eye which has the yellow on it. On the warranty tag on top of battery it has dates of 1977 thru 1981
