Re: need pics of rear disc brake brackets
Look on e-bay, I think I saw a guy selling re-pop stuff a week or two back, he had lots of pics of his stuff for sale.

Re: need pics of rear disc brake brackets
factory installed JL8 rear disc brake caliper brackets are the same as 65-82 corvette rear caliper brackets (They used 2 of the same side, I forget which side, and flipped it around on the other side). So if you need to see a pic just look it up in an on line corvette parts catalouge.
Hope this helps. |

Re: need pics of rear disc brake brackets
Heres a rear Corvette right side caliper mount PIC. They used 2 left side brackets to clear the shocks. but the JL8 brackets will not fit the camaro or chevelle 12 bolt rear backing plate flanges that is what made them unique to the JL8 housings you have to use the backing plate flanges from the 67-72 1/2 ton C-10 and weld them over the 12 bolt flanges then shim the caliper brackets to fit the longer production 12 bolt axle because the JL8 axle is also different, then the emergency brake cable is another story.-Denny
