'68 Camaro RS/SS 396 Convertible
This is a cool driver-quality car for sure - but I was surprised to see that it began its life as a turquoise car with turquoise interior.... I would have guessed these were the original colors based on the old repaint.
The engine stamp seems to line up with the trim tag build date, but it's odd that the seller didn't add the partial VIN. Definitely leaving some $$ on the table by not verifying the original engine...assuming it's really the original engine. Link to 1968 Camaro RS/SS auction 124678L317949 |

Odd that it has deluxe door panels with standard seats. It is missing the convertible cross brace and the rear cocktail shakers (and probably front too.)

Aren/t they standard seats with custom emblems ? or 1 of 1 special order ?

The car just looks odd without the stripe on the nose and down the sides. No blacked out tailpan. Where's the antenna?

You can see the antenna on the pass side fender in the first pic.
