Enrico and Lenora Stein bringing their newly purchased 1973 SD455 Formula to the BMW Annual FallFest in late 1973. He wanted to rub it in the face of the dealers after BMW refused to sell him a 1973 2002 Tii at anything less than sticker plus dealer mark up. He wanted to show them just what you could buy for 1/2 what they wanted for the new BMW.

Got these pics from the man who painted my car from when it was first shown in 1980. These probably aren't baby pics, but more of a rebirth of it to what it still is today:

Those same tires are still mounted on the original dated YH wheels. The original spare tire still mounted on the original dated spare in the trunk.</div></div>

That looks like a Polyglas on the front. What is the spare ?</div></div>

Yep Polyglas not original tires though. I just thought it was wild that those tires are still on they YH wheels. The man in the picture told me that! The spare is a Good Year Wide Tread GT.

I've posted this before on CRG. But this was June 69. Dad took delivery of her in late Feb (01B build). Non spoiler car, didn't take long for him to add a short one. I love this photo.

I drive the car regularly today.
