His creations are most certainly a massive influence on my tastes. He'll be missed.

Ain't no fun in viewing your car as an 'investment'. Get out there and beat on it!

Without question Joel had a huge impact on the muscle car era with legendary ground pounding cars that will live on as part of his legacy. I was fortunate to have spent some time with Joel and hear some of the stories from back in the day. He was also most generous with his time and knowledge related to some of his creations that I have had the honor of owning over the years.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to be present at the epic SCR that Joel, Marty, and Gary attended got to hear firsthand their collective stories of the golden years of Motion Performance.

RIP Mr. Motion. You'll be missed, but certainly not forgotten.

A sad day for Motorsports and Chevy performance. I still have two of his perf books on my shelve after all these years. Joel is a legend we will never forget.
