Default 68-72 GM Air Conditioning question

Just wanted to confirm, the firewall/evaporator box for GM A-bodies should all interchange from 1968-72, correct? Just want to make sure I'm doing a proper search for these before I go ahead and buy one for the '68 442.

I have a crack...no, actually, a hole, in the evaporator box side and need to find a new one.

I know the hose fittings for 68 are a barbed end that use s special hose clamp. I think 69 and later use a threaded connection..

Thanks. However, all I need is the firewall box. Just want to make sure it'll house the evaporator properly.
