I have been interested in muscle cars since before I had a drivers license.
Should have bought some back in the day when they were somewhat affordable but missed that boat. Now I just surf the net and go to the odd car show and auction to get my fill of muscle cars. I don't have the $$$ required to play in this game but even if I did the stories of all the "massaging" of cars to make them more valuable scares me from ever considering purchasing a rare high $ car. There were indeed four; three built for domestic delivery and one built for export.
The rough looking FC7 car was originally orange. Although there are skeptics out there (aka "experts") Dave Wise did a full in person report on it for Todd Werner and has confirmed it is indeed a real Hemi car. There is some question as to the original tag, as another tag with the same number but coded as a 383 is out there. The sign was indeed incorrect, as it said '69 but obviously was indeed a 1970.
