Default 1972 ZR1 corvettes

Does anyone have the list of 20 vins for these cars?
Joe

I would contact Drew Papsun, he posts here every once in a while but is also an NCRS member. I don't think he will give out vins but he is a great guy and will help you if he can.

Ed Foss owns them all....

Actually, Ed owns a bunch of them and I believe he has some VIN's for a few he doesn't own. I nearly bought one in 1977 that came from Mancuso Chevrolet in Skokie, IL and was back for sale with them. I thought the ZR1 was the ZL1 option back then, they educated me when I went to look at the car.

I don't believe there is a comprehensive list of all of them since they weren’t built in a batch. Pro Team has a green '72 for sale and Kevin S. has a '72 red/red on his site.

I think Kevin M. just finished restoring one and Corvette Center in CT is restoring another. Both, if I'm not mistaken, are Ed Foss cars. What an amazing collection!

There is a fellow in my town here, that has an unrestored low mile original. He may be someone to contact about the others. I can PM his phone number.

Tim,

He brought the ZR1 to MCACN for Legend Judging. The car is absolutely fantastic. Completely original survivor with original tires. Extremely low miles. What a car! Ed

That would be Al Wagner. Al is on eof our MCACN judges and he is also helping us with a very special group of 1971 LS6 Corvettes that will be a part of our "Class of 1971" Invitational display at MCACN this year.

Speaking of Ed Foss, Ed will be showing an amazing all new driveable C3 sideways-cutaway Corvette built by Kevin McKay and his crew, along with several other ultra low mile '71's. This is not the L-88 Kevin showed a few years back, but an entirely new one that is shown "sideways." You will have to see it in person to understand!

Are you interested in a 15,000 mile 71 LT-1?
