----I have a picture of a car taken in 1968. The car has Connecticut plates and I have the serial #s. Does anyone know if I can get any info on the 1st owner out of Connecticut???

I was able to get my old Z/28 VIN through the tax collectors office (Norwalk,CT) but it was a lot of work for them. They probably only did it because the assistant tax collector is a life long buddy. The old stuff was in hard files in boxes at the time. Probably around 2005 when they did it for me. Don't remember if the plate was referenced but if you have the VIN and know the town it may be possible through te tax office.

In Connecticut cars are considered a taxable property asset and you get a property tax bill for them every year. I remember getting delinquent bills for years after I moved from CT, even though every year I would send them proof that I moved away...
