Default another Nickey article

While going thru my closet, I found an old "Musclecars" magazine (dated Spring 1986 by some of the schedule dates) that shows a red 1967 SS350 with 427 w/dual quads. I have seen no other reference to this car (that I can find anyways)
Anyone else know of this car?
Just curious.

Virgil

Virgil, Send the rest of the pages. That car looks like Mike G's 67 Nickey

https://www.yenko.net/features/2000/November2000.htm

Neat thing is if its from a magazine dated Spring of 86 thats before Mike picked it up from what i understand.

Mike is this your 67 Nickey??? Ill send you a page i was sent and will post all the pages when i get them.

Those photos all appear to be from 1967. The 1986 magazine probably re-hashed an old article on the Nickey Camaro.

I believe that this car may have been owned by my neighbor in Anaheim, Ca. way back then. He was a detective with Anaheim PD and lived a black away from me. Even the picture in front of the house makes sense...

Don't remember his name any more though

That would make sense. Bill Thomas race cars was right off of La Palma and Olive I think. Right outside of the colony where I live now
