Default Senate passes Cash for Clunkers bill

Thankfully it looks like only '84 and newer vehicles are applicable this time..

I know we car guys should always hate any of these programs but if anyone's considering a new car purchase, now may be a good time to buy up an applicable rebate vehicle?.

Yep and where does the money come from??? Our taxes so we pay for it anyway. It is not something for nothing. Personally I'd rather have that money in the bank rather than the government have it.
