I think a "few" of those bidders own a tool box...in fact one of those bidders is a member of this site...and does excellent work. His car will be coming up in Members Rides soon...

Checking in from the MESA,AZ Holiday Inn (Damm Nice Hotwire room for $44 per) Spent good part of Thursday at B/J. I didnt see anybody from Yenko that I recognized except Denis G.......and nobody who saw me wanted to acknowledge that, but what the hey, been there, done that.
Seattle acquaintenance had bidders creditials and my group of four walked into and sat in rear of bidders area.
Friday we went to Russo and Steele. Just my opinion, but enjoyed the overall Muscle Car scene at R/S better.
Anyway gotta get off this puter, but really enjoying the great weather, Harley shops, Auction cars, WOMEN, and Pavillions Cruise tomorrow.....
Bye all, Chuck

I am just generalizing not trying to be a a "SSSHHTICK" but some do not get the real "hobby" part? what about the middle class ????? if you do not agree that is fine......although these prices are quite "blown out of proportion!" maybe you do not agree! thats good / thats bad! whats next?..................rat rods?

I realized that you are generalizing...I can agree that some will never have the inclination or ability to work on their cars...but they've been successful in life...why not let them enjoy it?

I can only imagine.......just like the lottery!................................but to spend high dollar on cars that can be built & enjoyed ..... way too many "originals" are surfacing!!!.......( 10,000 milers !!!...."ALL OF A SUDDEN! no 1 person anticipated the boom, the growth, the desire, or the investment!!!!!!! so these less than 200 mile a year cars are so far fetched it is sickening!especially in "immaculant" condition! all I am trying to be is a bit .... realistic! I know a few are there for sure seen some .know of a few ..... but even the "never been touched " cars DO NOT HAVE CHROME THAN BLINDS YOU! regardless off studio lighting again I am not trying to be offensive...but come on now lets be a bit "real" everyone on this site seems to enjoy cars..in some way lets keep it in check!!!!
