Difference between 1968 and 1969 Firestone F70x14 tires

1968
White stripe F70x14 is one of the 5 factory tires still with a crazy nice 1968 Torino GT fastback. 20,00 miles
1968 red stripe is same other than color of stripe.

Start wherever and put air chuck in cyinder.
let it find bottom and change spring.
Seals are right...

Third choice IMHO.
These are pretty much a 69 tire [Corvette F70X15] being a notable exception. Firestones were pretty much 69 also in pictured style.

The "speedway wide tread" came out in 67 ....

We have 2 68's with discs and will check them also.
They are 4 piston calipers like a 67.

Your spindles need to be 67 as...

Dist cap info thread currently going brought out a pics of an original 70 Z28 and wires match this set of mine.
