Does anyone know if there was any 1970 nova ss made with a 350 lt1

There were about 175 Yenko Deuces made with that motor...<span style="font-weight: bold">they were </span><span style="font-weight: bold">not SS cars</span>, but rather a COPO ordered vehicle specially built for Yenko Chevrolet. The L48 350/300 horse small block was the most powerful (and only) &quot;small block motor&quot; available in the 70 SS Nova.

There are some real Deuce experts here who can tell you the whole story...

Well I have my dads 70 Nova SS and he says it's the original 350 lt1 and it's not a yenko
And I'm pretty sure it's a 350 lt1 it has a 3970010 block and the the double hump heads 3927186 so

What's the VIN nbr? Original color, original selling dealer? Trans, and code off the rear end?

It wouldn't be the 1st deuce to loose it's stripes, and be cloned into a SS.

I'm not sure where the vin is it has a Muncie m20 tranny and not sure on the rear end I know it's a 12bolt posi

The cars body vin is 11427wrn260749 it's paint code is 78 78 which is black cherry I think

I couldn't find the vin on the motor

Not sure on the dealer my dad was the second owner I think he said it also has factory air

They are pretty much the only LT1 Novas built so unless your Dad has a one off type car he is probably mistaken.Pics of the engine stampings etc would help us sort it out for you. There are #'s stamped on the block just below the alternator.
