1969 Camaro Pace car engine compartment
1 Attachment(s)
I am currently detailing engine compartment on my Pace car. It is a super nice car, but over the past 40 years a lot of parts just ended up paint black.
Can you share some pictures of either z28 or pace car engine compartment pictures that are correct. This was the starting point. I now have the fenders and wheels off. I am not looking to over restore, just make it nicer. Thanks Dan |
Making a great car even better!!

This car really deserve it. It was so nice taking a car part when all the bolts come out and it is not a rusty turd with hidden secrets.

Maybe more involved than you intend, but the top of the cowl should be body color [white]. If it was rattle-canned black, may be easy to remove.

The cowl will be coming off so I can make that change, thanks.

You can fix the cowl air cleaner seal, by gently using wide painters tape and roll the seal back to the outside, leave in sun for a while. Back of seal looks great, front has mis-shapened.

Does any one have a good picture of the restored wiper motor? not the regular camaro one the R/S one. thanks

I have a '69 SS350. Maybe these pics of my engine compartment may help you.
